Da werden Erinnerungen wach! Stundenlang haben wir als Kinder in dem dicken Schmidt-Buch gelesen und heute ist es auch nicht anders. Viele Pasagen riefen Erinnerungen an "Damals" hervor und so manches Bild erzeugt erst heute einen Aha-Effekt. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
Dem ostdeutschen Leser dürfte Erich Schmitt ein Begriff sein. Ich habe seinerzeit das Schmitt-Buch verschlungen, hatte nur mein Exemplar irgendwann nicht mehr aus einer Leihe zurück erhalten. Gut, dass es zwischenzeitlich neu aufgelegt wurde, und zwar, nach meiner Wahrnehmung, unverändert.Die Geschichten sind herrlich, auch für die westdeutsche Leserschaft, Schmitt's Protagonisten immer komisch. Kein Krawall-Klamauk, sondern leicht erheiternde Lektüre.
